Omi wishes OG: Pawan Kalyan’s birthday glimpse

Today marks Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, and as promised, the makers of “OG” celebrated the occasion by releasing special content for fans. A brand-new poster was unveiled in the morning, followed by a striking video glimpse in the evening. Unlike regular glimpses, director Sujeeth chose to introduce the film’s villain through this one.

In “OG,” Pawan Kalyan plays Ojas Gambheera, also known as OG. Opposite him, Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi steps into the role of Omi, the antagonist who vows to kill Ojas. The new glimpse focuses on Emraan Hashmi’s introduction as Omi, before closing with a powerful shot of Pawan Kalyan, machete in hand, clad in a blood-stained white shirt.

The glimpse is unique in its approach, highlighting the protagonist’s heroism by first establishing the strength of the antagonist. The Japanese-styled text in the video further hints at the film’s Japan connection.

“OG” also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the leading lady, with music composed by Thaman. Two songs and an earlier teaser have already been released, building up the buzz, and now this new glimpse has only intensified the anticipation.

Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya, “OG” is already breaking records overseas. Advance bookings for its North American premieres have touched close to $1 million, setting a new benchmark for an Indian film. The film is slated for release on September 25, 2025.
