Allu Arjun gave me the floor steps: Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannaah Bhatia is regarded as one of the finest dancers among today’s actors in Indian cinema. Her flawless moves, grace, and glamour have made her the top choice for special songs.
Interestingly, Tamannaah credits Allu Arjun for shaping her as a dancer. In a promotional interview for her recent web series “Do You Wanna Partner,” she recalled her experience working with him in V V Vinayak’s “Badrinath.”
“Back then, I was doing all kinds of commercial films in Telugu and Tamil, performing four to five songs in each film. But it was Allu Arjun who pushed me to try the toughest dance steps in Badrinath,” she shared.

Fifteen years ago, floor steps were considered the domain of male actors, while heroines mostly limited themselves to hip shakes, graceful walks, or glamorous poses.
“It was Allu Arjun who insisted that I do floor movements alongside him. He told the director that I dance really well and should be given equally tough choreography. Bunny encouraged me to take it up. After Badrinath released, I received many opportunities and became popular for dance numbers,” Tamannaah said.
