Malayali actress Mamitha Baiju is quickly becoming one of the most popular faces in South Indian cinema. She first rose to fame with the Malayalam film “Premalu” and now appears in “Dude,” which is set for a Telugu release on October 17.
“The makers approached me after Premalu released. When director Keerthiswaran narrated the story, I immediately liked it. My role is very important to the story. I play Kural, a girl who is loyal to her emotions, friendly with everyone, and speaks very directly. Portraying her was a wonderful experience,” she shared.
Mamitha added, “Some emotional scenes were challenging, and I practiced dialogues all night to get them right.”
She also praised her co-star, saying, “Acting with Pradeep Ranganath was great. He is multi-talented and very supportive on set.”
