Karan Johar continues to back Janhvi Kapoor’s career

Actress Janhvi Kapoor has faced a rough patch in Bollywood, with her recent releases – Param Sundari, Homebound, and Sunny Sanskari – underperforming at the box office. While Janhvi enjoys strong popularity among the youth and a massive social media following, her online fame hasn’t translated into theatrical success.

Despite the setbacks, she continues to bag new projects, largely thanks to her long-standing association with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Johar, who launched Janhvi in Dhadak, continues to support her career actively.

According to reports, Karan Johar is now planning a high-energy action entertainer featuring Lakshya and Tiger Shroff, directed by Raj Mehta, with Janhvi Kapoor set to play the female lead.

On the Telugu front, Janhvi is currently working on Ram Charan’s “Peddi” after scoring her first Telugu hit with NTR’s Devara.

In Bollywood, however, she continues to rely on the strong backing of her mentor Karan Johar, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities despite recent box-office setbacks.
