Nayanthara joins the empire of ‘NBK111’
On the occasion of Nayanthara’s birthday, the makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 111th film, NBK111, officially welcomed her on board. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film is a grand period drama set in the world of kings, kingdoms, and royal court politics.
To mark her birthday, the team unveiled the first look of Nayanthara’s character. She appears in a fierce warrior avatar, tattoos on her shoulder, adorned in regal jewellery, with an intense battle raging in the backdrop. She is reportedly playing a queen in this epic narrative.
NBK111 marks Nayanthara’s fourth collaboration with Balakrishna after Simha, Jai Simha, and Sri Rama Rajyam. The film also marks director Gopichand Malineni’s first venture into the historical genre.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the producer is also currently bankrolling Ram Charan’s Peddi.
The remaining cast and crew details will be announced soon. The film is expected to start rolling next month.
