Allu Arjun celebrates the journey of Pushpa franchise
Allu Arjun is marking the phenomenal success of “Pushpa” and “Pushpa 2” with heartfelt gratitude. As “Pushpa 2” completes a year since its release on December 5, 2024, he reflected on the film’s journey and shared his appreciation with fans and collaborators.
He wrote: “PUSHPA has been an unforgettable five-year journey in our lives. This movie’s audience has given us immense love, strength, and courage to dive deeper into our craft. We will always be grateful to everyone in this country and beyond for making it a phenomenon.”
He went on to thank every member of the team and especially the director Sukumar. He added: “It has been my honour to walk this journey with all my artists, technicians, the entire unit, producers, distributors, and of course, our captain @aryasukku garu. I thank each and every one of you for being part of this journey. With a heart full of gratitude once again… THANK YOU.”
“Pushpa 2” grossed around Rs 1,800 crore worldwide, making it the third highest-grossing Indian film ever, following Baahubali 2 and Dangal.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the Pushpa franchise stars Allu Arjun in the title role (Pushpa Raj) alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Plans for Pushpa 3 are reportedly in discussion.
