Toxic: Yash’s introduction unveiled with adult theme

Toxic

Kannada superstar Yash celebrates his birthday today, and marking the occasion, the makers of “Toxic” unveiled a introduction video that reveals his character, Raya. The glimpse opens in a Christian cemetery, where a man is seen burying his son and performing the final rites. While wishing for peace, he also wonders whether “he” would arrive, setting up an air of mystery.

The scene then abruptly cuts to a stranded car, where a girl is seen atop a man in a suggestive moment, implying intimacy. Moments later, a bomb explodes, chaos erupts as a gang of villains is attacked, and a man steps out of the car. He is revealed to be Raya, played by Yash. Smoking a cigar and holding a machine gun, he delivers the powerful line, “Dad is home.”

The introduction teaser blends the familiar mass-hero template of guns, explosions, and macho swagger with a noticeably bold and adult-toned sequence.

While the setup remains largely formulaic, the edgy presentation and larger-than-life elevation clearly cater to Yash’s massive fan base.

“Toxic” is directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions. The film features a grand ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth. It is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
