In Hindi, ‘Dhurandhar’ outperforms ‘The Raja Saab’

Prabhas remains the only South Indian star who can consistently draw Bollywood-level collections in North India. Several of his recent films have proven his market strength in the Hindi belt. However, his latest release, The Raja Saab, is facing a tough time in North India during its opening weekend.
On its third day of release (Sunday), The Raja Saab collected ₹4.65 crore net in India from the Hindi version.
In contrast, “Dhurandhar” managed to rake in ₹6.16 crore net on the same day—despite it being the 38th day since its release. Notably, a film that has been in theatres for over five weeks outperformed a fresh release featuring a star like Prabhas in the Hindi market.
Overall, “The Raja Saab” has collected ₹108 crore in its first three days across all languages in India. The film’s performance now largely depends on sustaining strong collections in the Telugu states. With the festival season beginning from tomorrow, the movie is expected to witness a significant jump in collections in Andhra Pradesh.
