NTR and director Prashanth Neel are currently collaborating on a high-profile film, the official title of which is yet to be announced. Until then, fans have been referring to the project as #NTRNeel or Dragon. The massive venture is also said to feature prominent actors from Bollywood, adding to the already sky-high expectations.
Now, veteran Bollywood star Anil Kapoor has officially confirmed his involvement in the project. While several media reports, including TeluguCinema.com, had earlier reported his casting, Anil Kapoor himself has now made it official through an Instagram Story.
Responding to an IMDb post on the Most Anticipated Indian Movies of 2026, which listed Dragon among the top films, Anil Kapoor wrote: “One has landed. The rest two are lining up. #Dragon,” indirectly confirming his role in the film.
Anil Kapoor has previously shared screen space with NTR in “War 2.” However, this marks his first collaboration with the actor in a straight Telugu film. Interestingly, Anil Kapoor had earlier acted in the Telugu film “Vamsa Vruksham” (1980), directed by Bapu.
“Dragon” is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with NTR Arts.
