Peddi explores alternate release dates!

The makers of “Peddi” have reiterated multiple times that the film is slated for a March 27, 2026 release, most recently confirming the date once again. The latest shooting schedule has also resumed, with Ram Charan sharing a glimpse of his striking new bulky avatar. The actor has undergone an intense physical transformation, building significant muscle mass to portray a rugged rural sportsman.

According to the team, the entire talkie portion of the film (excluding songs) is expected to be wrapped up by the last week of January. However, there are growing concerns about whether post-production can be completed comfortably in time for the announced release.

Adding to the dilemma is the possibility of “Dhurandhar 2” hitting screens on March 19, 2026, which could impact Peddi’s box-office prospects.

While the team is currently pushing ahead to meet the March 27 deadline, the producer is also exploring alternative release windows as a contingency plan. April and May 2026 are said to be under consideration as potential backup dates if a postponement becomes necessary.

“Peddi” is a sports action drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana, with Ram Charan playing the titular role. Janhvi Kapoor stars as the female lead. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the film also features an ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma.
