Priyamani continues to command big pay in Telugu cinema

Priyamani’s career continues to be a remarkable journey. With over two decades in the film industry, the National Award-winning actress remains in strong demand, consistently securing prominent roles as a leading heroine across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema.

Defying industry trends, Priyamani has now signed another major Telugu project. What’s more striking is that the actress is reportedly drawing a substantial paycheck for this high-profile Telugu film, reaffirming her position as one of the few actresses to enjoy such longevity and commercial appeal across industries.

Priyamani has signed a new film opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi. Director Bobby, who earlier delivered the blockbuster Waltair Veerayya with the Megastar, is set to helm another mass entertainer, with the shoot scheduled to begin in March.

The upcoming project features a prominent female lead opposite Chiranjeevi, and Priyamani is said to have been finalized for the role.

Sources informed TeluguCinema.com that Priyamani is reportedly being paid over Rs 1 crore plus GST, along with additional amenities, for the film.

Considering that she does not fall into the typical “glamour heroine” bracket like Tamannaah, Nayanthara, or Trisha—who have recently shared screen space with Chiranjeevi—this remuneration is being viewed within the industry as quite substantial.
