Sree Vishnu’s ‘Mrithyunjay’ gets a release date

Sree Vishnu, widely appreciated for his knack for picking distinctive and content-driven films, is gearing up for his next investigative thriller titled “Mrithyunjay.” The film is directed by Hussain Sha Kiran and is already generating interest among movie lovers.

The makers officially announced that “Mrithyunjay” will hit theatres on February 27, 2026, unveiling a striking new poster to mark the occasion.

The poster features Sree Vishnu standing on a road strewn with newspapers, a visually arresting image that hints at the film’s mystery-driven narrative and has sparked curiosity online.

Reba John plays the female lead, reuniting with Sree Vishnu after the blockbuster success of Samajavaragamana. The film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Vinay Chilakapati under the banners of Lightbox Media and Picture Perfect Entertainment, with Ramya Gunnam presenting the project.

Backed by strong technical talent, Mrithyunjay boasts cinematography by Vidhya Sagar, music by Kaala Bhairava, editing by Sreekar Prasad, and production design by Manisha A. Dutt.
