Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced the extension of the lockdown period in the state till May 7. The cabinet will take stock of the situation on May 5. However, CM said the lockdown will not be extended further except in containment zones.

The corona crisis is not over, it is not coming under the control yet, he said. He appealed people to follow the rules and restrictions religiously. There are no relaxations in the state from tomorrow.

So, there is no relief for the movie industry as well. Shootings will not be allowed until May 7th.
