Mohanlal is the right choice for Manamantha, says Yeleti
Chandrashekar Yeleti’s next film Manamantha is all set for release. The director is happy the way his film has shaped out. He surprised many when he chose Malayalam superstar Mohanlal for the lead role. What made him do this?
Yeleti says that Mohanlal is the perfect choice for this role. Had he taken a Telugu star for this film, the impact would have got diluted because of the star craze that any top star in Tollywood has. Mohanlal on the other hand has given a realistic performance says Yeleti. He reasons that this superstar has earlier done couple of realistic films. Also Mohanlal dubbed for this film and it was the actor’s decision. Personally the director is happy with Mohanlal’s decision and the way this film has shaped.
