Bhogi: Sharwanand begins action shoot schedule

Sharwanand, fresh from the success of “Nari Nari Naduma Murari”, has teamed up with director Sampath Nandi for the first time for the ambitious pan-Indian period action drama “Bhogi”. The film is produced by K. K. Radhamohan under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Arts and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan.

Earlier, the makers unveiled a concept glimpse titled First Spark, which generated strong buzz and set the tone for the film’s intense world.

After wrapping up an initial schedule featuring key talkie portions, the team has now commenced a major action schedule in Hyderabad. A massive set has been specially erected for this crucial phase, which includes two large-scale action sequences choreographed by noted stunt master Dilip Subbarayan.

A striking monochrome still from the sets shows Sharwanand standing on a deserted road with a hammer slung over his shoulder, surrounded by smoke and grit, underlining the film’s raw and rugged tone.

Mounted on a grand scale, “Bhogi” is said to be the most expensive project in Sharwanand’s career, with the actor undergoing a complete makeover. Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi play the female leads.
