Sukumar’s RC17: Script ready, shoot planned for August

Speculation has been swirling around RC17, the upcoming film starring Ram Charan and directed by Sukumar. Recently, some reports claimed that multiple writers are still working on different versions of the script. However, sources close to the director have dismissed these rumours.
According to insiders, the core story idea was conceived by Sukumar himself, and it has already been locked. A small team of writers is currently assisting him in polishing the screenplay and detailing the narrative, and this process is said to be nearing completion. Sources insist that there is no truth to the claims that several writers are independently developing separate scripts for the project.
The untitled RC17, Ram Charan’s 17th film, is expected to begin shooting in August.
The film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. The project also marks the much-awaited reunion of Ram Charan and Sukumar after their blockbuster collaboration Rangasthalam.
Casting for the film has not begun yet, but Sukumar is expected to retain his regular technical team. Music will likely be composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with lyrics by Chandrabose and cinematography handled by Mirosław Kuba Brożek.
With the script nearing completion and preparations underway, RC17 is already generating strong curiosity among fans, especially after the massive success of Rangasthalam.
