Rajinikanth is Dharman: A deadly doctor in Thalaivar173

Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to begin work on his 173rd film (Thalaivar173), and the makers have officially unveiled its title as “Dharman.” Along with the announcement, they released a striking first-look glimpse that introduces the superstar in a never-seen-before avatar.

The first-look poster features Rajinikanth inside a hospital operation theatre, standing over a defeated goon pinned to the floor beneath his foot. Dressed in a blue surgeon’s outfit and sporting his trademark dark sunglasses, he holds a surgical knife in his hand while staring intensely at the camera.

Adding to the intrigue is the film’s tagline: “The Deadly Doctor,” hinting at a character that blends healing with ruthless action.

“Dharman” will be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, known for films like Pradeep Ranganathan’s “Dragon”. The film is being presented by Kamal Haasan and jointly produced under the RKFI and Turmeric banners.

Music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking yet another collaboration with Rajinikanth after delivering chart-topping albums and impactful background scores for the superstar’s recent films. The action sequences will be choreographed by the acclaimed stunt duo Anbariv.

“Dharman” has already generated considerable excitement among Rajinikanth fans.
