Big break for Raashi Khanna, lands role in Rajinikanth’s Dharman
Raashi Khanna has come on board Rajinikanth’s upcoming film “Dharman,” which was announced today.
Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film grabbed attention with its intriguing first-look poster featuring Rajinikanth as a “Deadly Doctor.” The press meet was held today in Chennai. And Raashi Khanna graced the event.
While Simran is said to be playing the principal female lead, insiders indicate that Raashii’s character is far more than a routine supporting role and will have a substantial impact on the storyline.
For Raashii, the film could mark a crucial phase in her Tamil career. Despite appearing in several Tamil films over the years, she has been waiting for a project with the scale and visibility needed to elevate her standing in Kollywood.
A role in a Rajinikanth film naturally brings enormous attention. She recently appeared in Pawan Kalyan’s “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” but the film bombed like anything.
