Nagarjuna closely monitors every aspect of his son Akhil’s ‘Lenin’

Nagarjuna has devoted his complete attention to his son Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film, “Lenin.” The senior actor has been closely supervising every aspect of the film, from post-production to its promotional campaign.
For the first time, Nagarjuna has taken such an active role in one of Akhil’s projects. Over the past three months, he has reportedly put aside his other commitments to concentrate entirely on “Lenin.” Sources say he even suggested reshoots for a few scenes after feeling they did not achieve the impact the director had envisioned.
Only after being fully satisfied with the final output and gaining confidence in the film did Nagarjuna give the go-ahead for the promotional campaign and lock July 10 as the release date.
Nagarjuna is said to be highly confident that “Lenin” will finally deliver the blockbuster Akhil has been waiting for. As the seventh film of Akhil’s career, the project carries significant expectations, making its success crucial for the young actor.
Directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, “Lenin” is a rural drama set in the Chittoor region. Akhil plays a rustic youngster, while Bhagyashri Borse stars as his love interest, Bharathi.
