Ram Charan to undergo wrist Surgery at Coimbatore’s Ganga hospital

Ram Charan is set to undergo wrist surgery for the injury he sustained while filming “Peddi.” The actor was spotted at Hyderabad’s Begumpet Airport as he departed for Coimbatore, where the procedure is scheduled for tomorrow at the renowned Ganga Hospital.
A specialist in hand and wrist surgery will perform the procedure. According to his PR team, “His father Chiranjeevi, mother Surekha, wife Upasana, and other family members will be by his side during the surgery.”
Ram Charan suffered two major injuries during the making of “Peddi.” Earlier this year, he sustained a serious forehead injury, for which he underwent successful surgery at Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad.
He also suffered a severe wrist sprain during the shoot. Doctors in Hyderabad reportedly advised surgery as the only permanent solution. After consulting multiple specialists, the actor decided to undergo the procedure at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore.
“Peddi” was released in June. Ram Charan is expected to begin work on his next film with director Sukumar later this year. He is aiming to make a full recovery before joining the shoot.
A year of surgeries for the Mega family
Ram Charan is the third member of the Mega family to undergo surgery this year. Earlier, Megastar Chiranjeevi underwent shoulder surgery in Hyderabad. More recently, Pawan Kalyan had rotator cuff surgery at a hospital in Mumbai and is currently recovering.
