As anticipated, the film “Salaar,” directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Prabhas, had a tremendous opening in all regions. Many anticipated that the film would break new records due to the substantial increase in ticket prices (at many multiplexes the ticket prices is more than Rs 400) and the exceptional level of excitement and demand.
Although it generated a substantial revenue, it narrowly missed breaking the previous record. The film “Salaar” earned an impressive share of approximately Rs 19 Cr in the Nizam region (Telangana state) on its opening day. This amount is colossal for any film.
On the whole, “Salaar” achieved the second highest amount in Nizam on its first day, following “RRR”.
The advantage for “Salaar” lies in its release during the holiday season. There is a high likelihood of achieving massive figures on Sunday and Monday, particularly due to the Christmas holiday. Therefore, the overall figures for the extended weekend might be a record.
Salaar, however, has received mixed reactions and reviews. While the critics were unanimous in praising Prabhas’s terrific screen presence and Neel’s way of presenting Prabhas, the so-called ‘drama’ didn’t receive favorable talk.
