Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ had an average to good first weekend. The entertainer received mixed talk. Still, it has posted decent numbers. Compared to Telangana, the film has done better business in Andhra. Somehow, the film underperformed in Telangana state.
‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, however, made a strong business in the USA. The film has collected nearly $2 million (Rs 14.5 crore gross) in the extended weekend. The film collected nearly 300k dollars for three consecutive days after the premiere shows. Overall, the first weekend collection in the USA is superb.
The biggest challenge for this movie is holding the grip after the first Monday. Whether ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ would end up as an average grosser or hit will be decided after the first week’s run.
