Last weekend, eight new films arrived in the theaters, but none of them took the respectable opening. Among the eight, two were notable films – Lagadapati Sridhar’s son Vikram Saahidhev starrer ‘Virgin story’ and Mohan Babu’s ‘Son of India’.
But neither of them lured the audiences to the theaters. Last weekend, the footfalls were at the lowest for all new releases. Shows were canceled at many places due to zero ticket sales.
The holdover ‘DJ Tillu’ has added a few more lakhs of rupees to kits kitty. The film is a super hit. It did well in Telangana. ‘DJ Tillu’ also grossed 500k dollars in the USA. It touched the half-million mark on Sunday (Feb 20).
This weekend ‘Bheemla Nayak’ will create a storm at the box office. All the exhibitors are waiting for Pawan Kalyan’s movie to bring the josh at the ticket windows.
