We keep hearing about Rana’s name in the various exciting projects but before signing new films, the actor first needs to sort out the ones that are under production. A film was shelved mid-way, another film got completed but is waiting for the release, and another one has been in the production for the last two years.
‘Virata Paravam’ being directed by Venu Udugula has been in the making for the past two years. The film has faced delays in production due to Rana’s ill-health first and later its shoot was stalled for coronavirus pandemic. Rana who recently married Miheeka has not yet given his confirmation for the resumption of the shoot.
Director and producers are expecting that he would resume the work from October or November so that they can plan the release in February. People have forgotten about this film.
Heroine Sai Pallavi who is currently shooting for Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Love Story’ will be available for the shoot of ‘Virataparvam’ from next month.
On the other hand, ‘Aranya’ which was to hit the screens on April 2nd may now opt for digital release.
Rana and Gunasekhar’s mythological drama ‘Hiranya’ has also been facing many problems in the pre-production stage itself. Then there is the Telugu remake of ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. He is being considered for one of the main lead roles but it requires another top star to essay the other lead.
All in all, Rana needs to clear all the confusion.
