The trailer for Srikanth Addala’s “Peddha Kapu 1” has gotten a lot of attention. Virat Karnna plays the hero in the film. As the film nears completion, the film’s actress Pagati Srivastava meets with the press and discusses the film and her career.

Entry into films

Before entering the film industry, I grew up in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. People became aware of my talent as a result of my stint on television. As a result, I made my debut in “Manu Charitra”. Despite the fact that it was my first Telugu film, it went undetected. “Peddha Kapu -1” is my official launch. It marks my return to Telugu film.

About Peddha Kapu 1

After auditioning, director Srikanth Addala cast me in this part. I also participated in a workshop. The role I play is a strong one. It’s not your standard heroine who comes for the songs and romance but has a mind of her own. The story is set in a village. Virat Karrna, my co-star, is talented and supportive.

Selection of films

I aim to work in films that appeal to a wide range of audiences. I don’t want to tackle subjects that would make my family or father feel embarrassed to watch. That is how I select stories and roles.

Which actress’s work inspires you the most?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Taapsee Pannu, and Trisha Krishnan are the artists I admire. I enjoy the scripts and films they’ve chosen.

Which Telugu actor would you like to collaborate with?

If I were to choose only three names, I would start with Varun Tej. Ram Charan and Prabhas are two other actors I admire.

Are there any additional projects in the works?

I’ve been working on “Gam Gam Ganesha” with Anand Deverakonda, which will soon hit the theaters. “Peddha Kapu” will also have another part.
