A decade ago, director Sukumar launched his own production house, Sukumar Writings, with the goal of backing concept-driven cinema. Today, the banner has grown into one of the most prominent production names in Telugu cinema.
From its breakout success with “Kumari 21F” (2015) to recent hits like “Virupaksha,” the company has consistently delivered notable projects. Films such as Uppena and 18 Pages further expanded its reputation, while Sukumar also involved the banner in his own directorial ventures, including “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” which went on to break records across India and beyond.
Looking ahead, Sukumar Writings has a strong lineup of films in the making. Among them are “Peddi,” starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu, and “NC24,” helmed by Karthik Dandu with Naga Chaitanya in the lead.
