Muthiah Muralidharan is a legend in world of cricket. He spun his way to the top of the cricket world. He is the only test bowler to have taken 800 wickets. However, we know very little about his life, and there are many unknown aspects of his life.
All of this is documented in “800,” a Muralidharan biopic. Sachin Tendulkar unveiled the trailer today.
Muralidharan in the film is played by Madhur Mittal of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ fame. Mahima Nambiar is Madhimalar Ramamurthy, the former cricketer’s wife. The film, directed by MS Sripathy, will be released in October.
The distribution rights to ‘800’ have been acquired by Tollywood producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad of Sridevi Movies.
