Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan revealed that his cameo in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film “Coolie” was a gesture of admiration and respect.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Superstar Rajinikanth. I agreed to this special role purely out of love and respect for him,” Aamir said.
“Coolie” also features Nagarjuna Akkineni and Upendra in prominent roles. While they play substantial characters, Aamir’s appearance is brief, lasting just a few minutes. Aamir also confirmed that he will be teaming up with Coolie director Lokesh Kanagaraj next year for a superhero film.
He said he has immense respect for South Indian cinema talent.
Aamir Khan is currently promoting his movie, Sitaare Zameen Par, set for release on June 20.
