Actress Mamta Kukarni will be a spiritual leader

Mamta Kulkarni, a yesteryears actress who is in her early 50s, returned to India after 25 years. She has now become a spiritual leader.

Participating in the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela 2025, she took a holy dip at the Sangam and performed “Pind Daan” as part of her spiritual rituals.

According to media reports, she will be inducted into the Kinnar Akhada, a monastery. She will be given the title – the Mahamandleshwar, known as a spiritual leader.

Mamta Kulkarni was one of the leading actresses in the 1990s. She also acted in Telugu films such as Premasikharam (1992) and Donga Police (1992).

Mamta Kulkarni created many controversies back then.
