Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur have teamed up for “Dacoit,” a high-octane action film currently in production. Today, the makers unveiled a special video glimpse titled “Dacoit Fire Glimpse,” featuring the lead characters played by Adivi Sesh, Mrunal Thakur, and Anurag Kashyap.
The video highlights the film’s intense theme – love and loss, action and romance. It concludes with the announcement of its release date. “Dacoit” is set to hit theaters on December 25th, 2025, as a Christmas release.
The film has been in development for a while. Initially, Shruti Haasan was cast in the female lead, but she was later replaced by Mrunal Thakur, which caused a delay in production.
“Dacoit” marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Shaneil Deo and is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda. The ensemble cast also includes Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla.
