After a log gap, Varun Tej resumes Matka shoot

Varun Tej returned to the sets of a film after a long break. “Matka,” billed as a mass action entertainer, has begun its new phase of shooting in Hyderabad and is moving quickly across a large set.

Sharing a picture from the sets, Varun Tej wrote, “Back on set after 175 days with new energies and aspirations, ready to bring the retro magic of ‘Matka’ to life!”

A huge set was constructed in Hyderabad. During this 40-day period, the director will film main sequences.

The film is being directed by Karuna Kumar and produced by Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala in association with SRT Entertainments’ Rajani Talluri.Norah Fatehi and Meenakshi Chowdary play the heroines. They will take part in this segment of the shoot as well.

“Matka” is based on an actual incident. The music is being composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
