Aishwarya Rai is back on Mani Ratnam’s sets

Aishwarya Rai is back on sets. She has joined the shoot of Mani Ratnam’s epic drama ‘Ponniyan Selvan’. The film’s shoot recently resumed in Pondicherry.

Aishwarya Rai plays an important role in this two-part movie. The first part will release in April 2022. Aishwarya has earlier played lead roles in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Iruvur’ (Iddaru’) and ‘Raavan’, and she is now playing one of the central characters.

Aishwarya Rai has not signed any other movie other than Ponniyan Selvan.

The film has Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Raja, and Trisha in the main roles. AR Rahman is scoring the music. It will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
