Aishwaryaa, the elder daughter of Rajinikanth, has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been admitted to a hospital in Chennai. Last week, she had filmed a video song album in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. She seems to have contracted COVID-19 on sets.
She took to Instagram to share the news.
“Tested positive even after all precautions…get admitted… please mask up, get vaccinated and be safe. Bring it on 2022!! We will see what more is that you have in store for me,” she wrote.
Interestingly, this is her first Instagram post since the announcement of separation from her husband Dhanush. Aishwaryaa and Dhanush had announced last month that they are getting separated after 18 years of marriage.
Aishwaryaa is a film director, has two sons with Dhanush.
