Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu’s fourth collaboration, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, has officially locked its release date. The much-awaited sequel to the 2021 blockbuster “Akhanda” will hit theaters on December 5, 2025.
The film, currently in post-production, was originally scheduled for release today but was postponed to make way for Pawan Kalyan’s OG. With “OG” now running successfully in theaters, the makers have finalized the new date for Balakrishna’s epic actioner.
Promotions for “Akhanda 2” will kick off next month.
Featuring Balakrishna in dual roles, the action-packed devotional drama also stars Pragya Jaiswal, Samyuktha, and Aadi Pinishetty, with music composed by Thaman. The film is produced by 14 Reels Plus.
