“Akhanda 2” is scheduled for release during the Dasara holiday period, and there will be no change in the date, confirms Nandamuri Balakrishna. The actor today addressed the media at an event in Eluru.
Speaking to reporters, Balakrishna revealed that the shooting of the film’s climax portion has already been completed.
“Samyuktha and I recently returned from Georgia after wrapping up the climax shoot. Akhanda 2 is shaping up really well and will meet expectations. The teaser received a tremendous response. The release will happen in September as previously announced,” he stated.
Nandamuri Balakrishna plays a dual role in the film, which is directed by Boyapati Srinu. Pragya Jaiswal stars as the female lead, while Samyuktha plays a pivotal role. A sequel to the blockbuster Akhanda, the film features music composed by Thaman.
Although the teaser for Akhanda 2 received mixed reactions, it garnered massive viewership online. The makers are planning to release the film in five languages, marking Balakrishna’s big pan-Indian release.
