Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu’s ‘Akhanda’ has achieved a rare feat in the pandemic period. The film has completed 50 days run in 103 centers. When films are not having a shelf period beyond two weeks, the film completed 50 days run in the theaters.
‘Akhanda’ was made with the highest budget in Balakrishna’s career and it also turned out to be the highest grosser in his career. The film has also crossed the 1 million dollar mark in the USA.
Amid the uncertainty due to the upsurge in omicron cases, ‘Akhanda’ came and conquered the box office.
‘Akhanda’ proved that the combination of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu doesn’t fail at the box office as this is their third hit in a row.
Dwaraka Creations’ Miriyala Ravinder Reddy bankrolled the film while Thaman gave the music.
