Fans discuss about Baahubali 3 after vague statement
Rajamouli’s “Baahubali”, released in 2015, created a landmark in Indian cinema and changed the scale of filmmaking in the country. Rajamouli, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and everyone associated with the franchise benefited immensely from its success. More than a decade later, the brand continues to enjoy tremendous popularity.
Netflix has now released a special documentary series, “Baahubali: The Torchbearer”, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the epic films. Shot during the production of the original movies, the documentary takes viewers on an emotional and nostalgic journey with the cast and crew.
A promotional video featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty has particularly grabbed attention. The trio surprised fans by dropping a mysterious line: “The world is not ready for this announcement… Baahubali is coming for you all!”
The statement was enough to set social media ablaze. Though there is no concrete plan regarding “Baahubali 3”, many fans immediately interpreted it as confirmation that a third installment is in the works.
However, neither Prabhas nor Rajamouli has made any announcement about “Baahubali 3”. In fact, Rajamouli had earlier stated that if he ever revisits the franchise, it may not be a direct sequel but rather a different story set within the same universe.
As of now, talk of Rajamouli and Prabhas teaming up for “Baahubali 3” remains purely speculative. For fans, it is an exciting possibility, but still a far-fetched dream rather than an official project.
