Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ is facing hurdles for release. The romantic drama was earlier slated for the summer 2020 release. It was pushed to Sankranthi 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the team is in confusion about the release date.
Although the major portion of the shoot has already been completed. The latest buzz is that the makers have decided to reshoot some portions. So, it will take time for the movie to get completed.
Producer Bunny Vaas and presenter Allu Aravind are in favor of releasing the movie on an OTT platform. But Nagarjuna and Akhil have shot down the proposal. They want it to be released in the theaters first. Vaas and Allu Aravind are in a dilemma whether to bring it to the screens in February or wait for the summer holidays.
‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ is the fourth film in Akhil Akkineni’s career. He has not tasted success yet and has pinned a lot of hopes on this romantic drama.
