The team behind Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s much-anticipated untitled film (referred to as AA22 or AA22xA6) is preparing for another major reveal—this time featuring actress Mrunal Thakur.
The film was launched in style with a professionally shot announcement video showcasing Allu Arjun, Atlee, and producer Kalanidhi Maran traveling to Hollywood to collaborate with a top-tier visual effects team. This video, released on Allu Arjun’s birthday, offered a glimpse into the grand vision and scale of the project.
Production is already underway in Mumbai, with a massive budget backing the pan-Indian venture. The cast includes several prominent female leads. Deepika Padukone was the first to be revealed through a striking video where she appeared wielding a sword on horseback in a chroma setup.
Now, the spotlight shifts to Mrunal Thakur. Her announcement video has already been filmed, and the team is gearing up to unveil her as the next leading lady. This marks a significant career milestone for Mrunal, as AA22xA6 will be her first official pan-Indian biggie.
Though she has already left a mark in Telugu cinema with films like Sita Ramam, Hi Nanna, and Family Star, and made a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD, this project positions her on a much grander scale. She is currently also working on Ajay Devgn’s “Son of Sardaar 2” and another Telugu film titled “Dacoit.”
