Allu Arjun was honored with the Best Actor award for “Pushpa 2: The Rule” at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards held last night. On stage, in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, he also delivered his iconic “Taggede Le” dialogue, drawing loud applause from the audience.
On the occasion of Father’s Day today, Allu Arjun shared a photo of himself and his father, producer Allu Aravind, proudly holding their Gaddar Film Awards. He captioned the post: “Happy Father’s Day to my GOD.”
The moment holds added significance as Allu Arjun, who was previously jailed for few hours following the Sandhya Theater stampede incident under Revanth Reddy’s government, received an award from the very same administration. His use of the “Taggede Le” line during the event quickly went viral on social media.
Despite the earlier tensions, Allu Arjun considers his father Allu Aravind his unwavering pillar of strength. It was Aravind who reportedly handled behind-the-scenes negotiations and helped ease the situation between the actor and the government.
