Allu Arjun is Raaka: Title and first look revealed

The title of Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s first collaboration has been officially unveiled. Marking Allu Arjun’s birthday, the makers revealed the title and first look today at 11 AM. The film is titled “Raaka.”
The name “Raaka” signifies a demonic presence, and the first look lives up to that tone. Allu Arjun appears in a striking bald avatar, with feral claw-like hands, exuding a raw, beast-like intensity. The transformation hints at a dark and intriguing character, unlike anything seen before in his career.
The film is being directed by Atlee, best known for blockbusters like Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan and Bigil featuring Vijay.
Interestingly, the title poster features only the names of Allu Arjun and producer Kalanidhi Maran. “Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits,” the production house wrote.
The film is currently being shot in Mumbai, though the makers have not announced a release plan yet. Touted to be one of the most expensive Indian films, it blends science fiction and fantasy elements, with creatures and various animals forming a key part of the narrative. Reports also suggest that Allu Arjun will be seen in a dual role. Deepika Padukone plays the female lead.
“Raaka” will also be released in Bangla, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada languages besides Telugu.
