It was reported that Amal Paul would be acting alongside senior actor Akkineni Nagarjuna after Kajal Aggarwal backed out of the project. Kajal left the film owing to her pregnancy.
The makers have considered several names before zeroing in on Amal Paul. However, the latest reports suggest that the makers have consulted other actresses after Amala Paul demanded big money.
It is also said that Mehreen is also asking more than Rs 1 crore to play opposite Nagarjuna. The makers have not yet finalized any heroine, but Amala Paul has certainly lost the project.
