“Double iSmart”, being directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Ram Pothineni, has closed its OTT deal as well. The film’s theatrical rights were snapped up by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainment for whopping Rs 60 Cr.
Now, the film’s OTT rights of all South Indian languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam – were sold to Amazon Prime Video for a substantial amount of Rs 33 Cr.
This deal is the biggest in Ram’s career. The movie’s audio rights were sold for a sum of 9 crore rupees.
Sanjay Dutt portrayed the role of a villain, while Kavya Thapar played the character of Ram’s romantic interest in the film. The film has Mani Sharma as the music director.
“Double iSmart” will be released in theaters on August 15th.
