Amitabh Bachchan: I am proud to be part of Telugu cinema

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has acted in three Tamil films so far. Today, he said he is proud to have been part of the Telugu cinema. “I am proud to say that I am a member of the Telugu film industry,” Amitabh Bacchan stated.

“I thank Nag, Chiranjeevi, and Nag Ashwin for making me part of their films,” Amitabh Bacchan said.

Today in Hyderabad, Amitabh Bachchan graced the ANR National Awards ceremony. He presented the award to Megastar Chiranjeevi. The family of the late Akkineni Nageswara Rao bestows the ANR National Award on actors who have made significant contributions to the Indian film industry.

Amitabh Bachchan made a cameo appearance in “Manam,” produced by Nagarjuna. Then, Amitabh played a key role in the Chiranjeevi starrer “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.” And recently, Amitabh played a very big role in Prabhas starrer “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin, which became a blockbuster worldwide.

Amitabh Bachchan also thanked Chiranjeevi for his friendship, his humility, and his hospitality.
