Anil Ravipudi confirms Chiranjeevi birthday special
Director Anil Ravipudi has officially confirmed that a special promotional glimpse from his upcoming film with Megastar Chiranjeevi will be released on August 22nd, marking the legendary actor’s birthday. Taking to social media, Anil Ravipudi teased fans with a fun GIF showcasing one of Chiranjeevi’s iconic mannerisms from a vintage movie, instantly sparking excitement.
Currently riding high on the blockbuster success of ‘Sankranthiki Vastunnam’ starring Venkatesh, Anil Ravipudi is now helming a much-anticipated film featuring Chiranjeevi in the lead, alongside Nayanthara. The shoot is currently in progress.
It has become a tradition in the industry to unveil a title, teaser, or first look on a star’s birthday, and continuing that trend, the team is preparing a special treat for fans on August 22nd.
In this film, Chiranjeevi will be seen playing a character named Shiva Shankara Vara Prasad, which his real name before adopting the screen name Chiranjeevi.
Catherine Tresa plays another female lead, while Venkatesh Daggubati will be seen in a special cameo. Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the music.
The yet-to-be-titled film, currently referred to as #Mega157, is being jointly produced by Sahu Garapati and Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita Konidela.
