Often termed as Gen Next’s AR Rahman, Anirudh Ravichander is one of the leading music composers in India today. The hotshot music director is ruling the Tamil film industry by delivering back-to-back blockbusters. Somehow, he could not repeat the same success in Telugu even though some of his songs have become chartbusters.
Anirudh Ravichander had composed music for Telugu films like ‘Agnyaathavaasi’, ‘Gang Leader’ and ‘Jersey’. Critics applauded his music in Nani starrer ‘Jersey’. But he has not tasted huge commercial success in Telugu yet.
He is likely to take up another Telugu biggie. Our sources say director Koratala Siva is planning to work with Anirudh Ravichander for his next film featuring NTR. Being referred to as #NTR30, the new film will hit the floors later this year.
Koratala is currently working with senior music director Mani Sharma for ‘Acharya’. Before that, he had collaborated with Devi Sri Prasad for four films in a row. It remains to be seen whether Anirudh comes on board for this film or not.
