Annapurna Studios commemorated its 50th anniversary by inaugurating India’s first Dolby Vision Grading and Mastering Facility. The facility is situated within its Post-Production department in Hyderabad.
The facility was launched by top filmmaker SS Rajamouli, with actor Nagarjuna, Vice Chairman of Annapurna Studios, in attendance. This effort seeks to elevate the quality of Indian cinema by integrating innovative post-production technology in partnership with Dolby to achieve global standards.
Rajamouli commended Annapurna Studios for introducing this advanced technology to India.
Annapurna Studios, located in the center of Banjara Hills, the epicenter of filmmaking in Hyderabad, has emerged as a preferred venue for post-production activities among filmmakers. The studio is owned by the Akkineni family.
