Balakrishna takes on the role of a social activist!

“Bhagavanth Kesari” starring Nandamuri Balakrishna will be released in theaters on October 19. With only 19 days till the release, the team has begun to ramp its promotional activity.

Balakrishna went to Andhra Pradesh as soon as the filming of “Bhagavanth Kesari” was completed. He is now in Andhra Pradesh, reviewing the situation of Telugu Desamy party following the arrest of former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

He’ll return to Hyderabad next week to finish his dubbing and start promoting. The date for the trailer launch and pre-release event will be announced shortly by the makers.

“Bhagavanth Kesari” is directed by Anil Ravipudi. Balakrishna is said to be playing a social crusader who battles for tribal rights. The film has Telangana backdrop and Balakrishna also mouths dialogues in Telangana accent.

Kajal Aggarwal plays the female protagonist opposite Balakrishna, and Sreeleela plays his niece.
