Balakrishna waits for Chiranjeevi’s meeting

Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati’s ‘Akhanda’ is planning to hit the theaters on October 13 on the eve of the Dussera festival. However, the makers have not yet announced the date. Nor have they begun promotions. The reason is the uncertainty about Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister’s meeting with Chiranjeevi.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has agreed to meet Chiranjeevi and a group of Tollywood representatives to discuss a hike in ticket prices and other issues. But CM has not fixed a date for the meeting. Until Chiranjeevi and the other members meet CM, clarity about ticket prices will not emerge.

Balayya and the team of ‘Akhanda’ are eagerly waiting for the outcome of this meeting. Balakrishna has not been invited to this meet as he belongs to the Telugu Desam Party.

‘Akhanda’ also needs to complete a song. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the action drama has created a lot of hype with its promos.
