Actor-producer Bandla Ganesh sprang another surprise. The actor today withdrew his nomination from contesting Movie Artiste Association (MAA) polls. He had earlier filed nomination as General secretary. He said he was contesting as an independent candidate.
However, he backed out of contesting the polls after his well-wishers asked him to do so. “On the suggestion of my well-wishers, my friends, and god-like persons, I am withdrawing my nomination as General secretary in MAA polls,” he wrote on Twitter.
Bandla Ganesh will now support Prakash Raj’s panel. Prakash Raj’s panel and Manchu Vishnu’s panel are competing with each other in these elections.
Bandla Ganesh had earlier lent his support to Prakash Raj, but he came out of that panel after Jeevitha Rajasekhar’s name was announced as General secretary on their team. Looks like Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan intervened and asked him to withdraw the nomination.
